3 Tips For Improving Your Trade Show Exhibit

Business Blog

Making a tradeshow exhibit is not an easy task. Your exhibit will be in a showroom with hundred of other companies competing for the attention of everyone present. This is why it is so important that you do everything that you can to make your booth the most appealing and accessible. Here are 3 things that you can do to improve your exhibit.

1. Evaluate Your Colors

Colors are everything when it comes to marketing. It is amazing to see what people feel and think based on the colors around them. If you are going for cool and sophisticated, don't use orange. If you want to express youth and excitement, try using a yellow tone.

There are so many things that the color of your booth will say about you. This is why it is important that you don't just choose colors that you like, make sure you are choosing colors that convey the message you are trying to send.

2. Give Away Freebies

It is one thing to have an attractive booth; it is another to get people to come to your booth. One of the easiest ways to get traffic to your exhibit is to hand out some sort of freebie. Ideally, the free item would be a sample of your product or something that could get the customer hooked. However, some companies don't have products that they offer. For instance, if you are a programming company, you offer services and information. In this case, you could offer treats, free services, or try to get some sort of public figure or celebrity to be at your booth signing autographs and taking pictures. This will help to get people to your booth.

3. Get Your Message Out There

In one glance the consumer needs to see what you do. They might think your booth looks nice, or they might sneak over to grab a free sample, but the goal is to sell your information. This is why you should have something on your booth that explains in just a couple sentences what it is that you do.

You might only have a couple of seconds of the consumer's attention. You don't want to waste that precious time with them being distracted with something else. Instead, you want to get to right to the point. By making your message easy to access, easy to understand, and readable, they will get the jest of what you do is just a short amount of time.

Creating Better Employee Policies

A few years back, I was faced with a serious dilemma. Our employees had started to strike for what they said were dangerous working conditions when everything was in line with the recommendations from our parent company. We knew that we had to make things right, so we started working as a team to make things better. It was incredible to see how big of a difference we were able to make. Within a few short months, we completely overhauled our business and our employees felt like we cared about them. This website is here to help you to create better employee policies.
